Georgia man Ordered to Preach about Distracted Driving
A man from Dalton has recently been ordered to visit 4 North Georgia high schools and talk to the students about the dangers that distracted driving can cause. The man is currently facing charges for vehicular homicide.

65 year old Jerry Ray deal has recently pleaded guilty for 2 counts of second degree homicide by vehicle. This case follows the tragic deaths of 33 year old Jason William Vick and 7 year old Billy Martin of Ellijay.

Apparently, it was reported that Deal was distracted by his cell phone when driving. Distracted driving can cause a lot of damage and injuries and in most cases death. It is very important for people to participate in defensive driving trainings in order to avoid these accidents. Jerry Ray Deal could have avoided it if only he had gone for classes.
