Safety Driving Class Requirement for Student Parking

Around half of students confessed when a question was being out forward as to how flip-flops were experienced by them while driving on school.

On getting such a response the officers asked to them that while driving your foot from accelerator to brake, a flip-flop can hang one’s foot and get caught in brakes pedal. The exchange was informal but was very much informative. As per the rule the high school students of Pasco would be able to get the parking passes only after taking the Safe Wheel Class, which is a one-day four-hour session based on the classroom portion of Florida Driver Challenge.

This course is designed to give the young drivers a better understanding of the principles of safe defensive driving. Initiating such a program is really good as the accidents arising due to lapse of attention are increasing with around 25% of young ones involved.

A tangible change in driving habits was seen which would lead to the district giving blessing to take the course to each and every high school. This course is optional with necessary getting yearly school parking passes. The final decision is to add a corrective element to it to make it successful.

These classes would be offered at the beginning of school year with few weeks throughout the year as the students would get in the license and require them to start driving up the school.
