New Law Being Passed For Safer Taxes

The Natal Transport Alliance is in constant talks with State Government for allowing rules which would require only experienced and legal drivers to drive on the road.

This plan is an ongoing effort which would help you to create a “safer taxi industry” for this region. Its aim is to decrease the number of high road deaths which are occurring on provincial roads.

The Natal Transport Alliance group said in an interview that they would employ drivers who are in the age group of 25 years and have their Public Driving Permits for around 2 years from now. We are in the discussion with provincial government for the same matter.

One of the idea officials have thought of is to create a credible database for all registered taxi drivers which have experience and legality which needs to be verified. He said that the meeting must also ensure that industry would be legalized and all illegal taxi operators should be out.

The taxi industry was crucial which would make the province and country prepare for 2010 which is a safe and reliable public transport industry. The international visitors will not be worrying as much as the citizens of the country for the locals.

There are also talks going on with a major motor manufacturer to create a safety academy for taxi drivers which would teach them defensive driving. The idea for defensive driving is that whenever a tyro burst and vehicle is running with full load the drivers should have known to hit the brakes which would vehicle safety to a stop.
