State Investigation Reveals Wrong Way Accidents Are Rare
One of the driving instructors Stephen Walling has seen that drivers who come to learn from him are those who have find themselves driving the wrong way on a major road. Such people are very nervous about driving. There had been case when due to such a mistake there had been a horrific crash on Sunday afternoon.

The investigations are still looking as to why this incident happened which drove almost two miles crashing a sport utility vehicle. Along with that two one way signs and two do not enter signs stand by at the end of northbound exit ramp to win the drivers. But this is not the only case. There have been number of wring way accidents which have taken lives on Lower Hudson Valley Highways.

Still the investigators revealed out that the instances of wrong-way driving are comparatively rare and past accidents don’t compare to Sunday afternoon collision. But the recent Sunday accident was somewhat unusual. One should always check to see the yellow line on the right if you do that means you are driving the wrong way if not then you are on the right way.

Always see that if you are heading towards someone and have space then slow down and wait to see if they were swerve rather than driving in the same direction as other driver. But the work on the road since then has been aimed at improving safety for modern drivers. Still this section of parkway is among four roads in the state where new drivers with learner permits are not allowed to venture. The other three are also from Westchester. The department could not give any statement as to why this happened.

From 2005 to 2007, the largest number of accidents has been occurred on the roads. Around 30% of the accidents occurred on state routes like that of Route no.9. Seeing this the Bronx River Parkway country built a 7 feet hill north of parkway to make driving safer, allowing drivers to see traffic lights at Virginia Road.

The work has also been completed and some of the work is expected to be completed by about four weeks from now. Nobody complained about this facility expect one driver who has complained that the project does not include a guardrail for one of the portion, which can lead to accidents. The officials said that the guardrail was installed on one part of the section of road, but one part of grassy median was wide enough so a guardrail at that specific location was not required.
