Cyclists Need To Have Defensive Driving
Bicycling is a very popular exercise recommended by many people.

When you ride on the bicycle on the road, the bicycle is considered your vehicle and one must obey those traffic rules. With that riders should always wear a helmet while riding it. Most bikeriders know many of the laws about riding the bicycles on the road, such as driving on the right side, travelling with the flow of traffic, using hand signals to indicate the intentions etc.

Some common rules which need to be followed while cycling are:

Avoid Busy Streets: One of the biggest mistakes people make when they start biking is that they follow the same routes they use when they were driving. But this is better to take streets with fewer or low cars.

Light Up: The bicyclist should always have a light up at the night which has rear red blinking lights for your bicycle. Headlights are just as important as rear lights. One should always look for new kind of LED since they last longer on a set of batteries.

Ride as if you were invisible: One should ride as if they were invisible. If you ride in a way that a car has to see which leads in hitting you, then you won’t get hit even if they didn’t notice you were at that spot. But if you stay out of the way then you won’t get hit even if the car drivers didn’t notice you were there.
