The New York Internet Point and Insurance Reduction Program celebrated its anniversary to offer New York citizens online defensive driving course
This course was launched on May 18. This course was first of its kind to approved by DMV. To get a 10% reduction the drivers can complete the course online with the base rate of current automobile liability, no fault premiums. On completion of course the drivers would be receiving 4 point reduction. The course is available for drivers of any age. It is actually a real saving course for New Yorkers. If anyone has received a ticket in the last 18 months one can reduce up to 4 points on driving records.
On successful completion, the American Safety Council sends a certificate of completion to students along with providing the information to DMV.
