Saturday, 29th October was just another day for both Doug Kozar and Kate Kohlier. But their lives were cut short when a car careened off the road and hit them. Police said that a drunk driver is to blame. The car belongs to one dentist, and it seems he was speeding when he hit a curb, spun out of control and slid several planters while hitting both Kozar and Kohlier. Kohlier died on the spot while Kozar was pronounced dead in an ambulance. Another person was injured when he tried to jump out of the way of the car. The driver was arrested on two counts of DUI manslaughter, two counts of vehicular homicide and one count of driving under the influence with injury.
