Members of the Kirtland Air Force Base, N.M. in the Air Force Safety Center’s Ground Safety Division have recently received the National Safety Council’s Outstanding Effort award for training young adult drivers. This particular foundation has received accolades from all over for their “sincerity of heart” in training young adult drivers in the art of defensive driving and keeping them safe and sound behind the wheel of their personal vehicles as well as that of Air Force vehicles. Every year, NSC officials conduct strict reviews of all the defensive driving training programs and the number of students being trained.
